Intuition: In oligopoly, your best move depends on what competitors do. Game theory models these strategic interactions. Elements of a Game:
  • Players (firms, individuals)
  • Strategies (actions available)
  • Payoffs (profits, outcomes)

2. The Prisoner's Dilemma
